Quadrupel - Whisky Barrel Aged

This amber-colored beer is based on a Quadrupel. After two years of aging in a American oak Whiskey barrel from ‘Het Anker’ (Barrel Boutique), a complex flavor profile has developed with rich notes of dried fruit such as raisins and plums, hints of vanilla and caramel, and oak. The beer is beautifully balanced, with a finish that is both warming and slightly sweet.

This beer has the same base as Brúarfoss, with the difference that Brúarfoss has aged for two years in Bourbon casks. The beer is finished with our Goðafoss.

Miðfoss, a relatively small and unknown waterfall, is also located in the west of Iceland, in the Brúará river, along the hiking path to Brúarfoss. The water here falls in small steps.
