Fjaðrárgljúfur is a kettle sour where we experimented with skyr cultures (Icelandic yogurt). The result: a slightly sour, slightly bitter, cloudy beer with aromas of exotic fruit such as mandarin and peach. Our quirky version of a fruit juice, without any added fruit!
The Fjaðrárgljúfur is a green gorge in Southern Iceland, which was created about 2 million years ago. The gorge is about 100 meters high and 2 km long and through the gorge flows the small Fjaðrá river, which flows into the Skaftá river a little further on.
